CMS partner with insurance brokers to help employers reduce risk, lower claim costs and better support their people. Together, we help your clients achieve stronger health, work and financial outcomes.
CMS provide employers with tailored support for:

During times of organisational change and role redundancy, employees can often experience heightened stress and financial uncertainty, which can lead to increased workers’ compensation claims, grievances and legal disputes. This places added pressure on employers and remaining staff, driving up business costs.
CMS provides brokers and their clients with proactive, people-focused solutions. We deliver structured outplacement support and strategic guidance to help at-risk employees secure new roles and reduce the likelihood of claims. Concurrently, remaining employees feel informed, secure and valued, supporting productivity and morale.
By partnering with us, brokers can offer clients a practical risk-mitigation strategy that complements their workers’ compensation and broader insurance programs, reducing claim exposure, improving people outcomes and protecting organisational culture and reputation.

Employees in physically demanding roles, such as aged care or manual labour, face an increased risk of injury as they get older. Workers over 55 are more likely to lodge a workers’ compensation claim than those aged 15–34, whether due to higher physical demands or, in some cases, using a claim as a bridge to retirement. This creates additional cost and risk exposure for employers and their insurers.
CMS offer targeted solutions to help mitigate this risk by supporting mature-aged workers (55+) to proactively transition into more suitable, less physically demanding roles—either internally within the business or with external employers. This may include retraining, redeployment, or structured transition-to-retirement planning.
Our approach helps employers retain valuable skills, knowledge and relationships where they are most needed, while reducing the likelihood and cost of injury-related claims. With tailored support for mature-aged workers and their managers, CMS helps organisations navigate workforce transition in a way that protects their people, their premiums and their reputation.

At CMS we take a person-centred approach to every service we deliver. Focusing on the individual’s strengths, goals and circumstances, we provide tailored support rather than one-size-fits-all programs. Whether someone is returning to work, transitioning to a new role, facing redundancy or planning for retirement, our Career Consultants work alongside them with practical coaching, clear communication and genuine care. This approach supports better wellbeing and career outcomes for individuals, while helping employers and brokers reduce risk, protect culture and maintain positive relationships.

CMS Thrive provides career coaching to support individuals through significant periods of change.
